Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and technical direction for high-volume, low-latency, and resilient enterprise applications, ensuring scalability, security, maintainability, and operational excellence.
• Partner with product, engineering, infrastructure, data, and production support teams to define target-state architectures, guide modernization roadmaps, and deliver robust solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership through architecture reviews, design guidance, code quality standards, andmentoring ofsenior engineers, while promoting engineering best practices across the software development lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI-enabled capabilities such as developer productivity tooling, intelligent automation, observability insights, and data-driven decision support in a pragmatic, responsible, and business-aligned manner.
• rive architectural governance, non-functional requirement alignment, and continuous improvement in reliability, release quality, performance, and platform operability.

What you have

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience designing and building enterprise-grade applications and platforms.
• 5+ years of experience in technical leadership, solution architecture, or lead architect responsibilities across multiple teams or large programs.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, object-oriented design, API development, and distributed systems architecture.
• Experience designing and operating cloud-native or cloud-enabled solutions in platforms such as GCP, PCF, Kubernetes, or comparable environments.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture patterns, system integration, event-driven design, resiliency, observability, and performance engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases, data modeling, and high-volume transaction processing systems.
• Experience leading architecture and delivery for medium to large complex initiatives using Agile methodologies, including planning, implementation, release, and support.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, engineers, infrastructure teams, and production support organizations.
• Strong communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions.
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts, generative AI tools, intelligent automation, or applied analytics, with the ability to evaluate and incorporate relevant capabilities into software engineering workflows responsibly.
• Experience working in highly regulated or financial services environments is preferred for understanding reliability, risk, and compliance expectations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing reference architectures, architecture roadmaps, and reusable engineering patterns for enterprise platforms
• Experience with event streaming and messaging technologies such as Kafka or similar platforms
• Experience with containerization, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and modernDevSecOpspractices
• Knowledge of observability platforms, telemetry strategies, and SRE-aligned operational practices
• Experience in financial services, brokerage, payments, or other high-throughput regulated domains
• Familiarity with AI/ML platforms, LLM-based developer tools, prompt engineering, vector search, or model integration patterns in enterprise applications
• Understanding of responsible AI considerations including governance, privacy, security, and human oversight
• Experience mentoring senior engineers and serving as a technical advisor across multiple teams
•  Broad knowledge of modern software engineering trends, architecture frameworks, and emerging technologies
