Role Description

​In Advisor Services technology we are seeking a driven, results-oriented Software Development Engineers who share our passion for technology, innovation, and excellence. This role combines hands-on coding with support for the team’s technical delivery, working alongside engineers responsible for the full software development lifecycle and the timely delivery of high-quality product releases

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Solution Development
• Collaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders to define requirements, decompose stories, and design solutions aligned to business needs. 
• Analyze functional and non-functional requirements and contribute to solution design activities. 

Hands-on Development & Delivery
• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality, scalable applications using modern engineering practices. 
• Deliver features in an Agile environment, ensuring alignment with timelines, quality standards, and business objectives. 

Engineering Excellence & Quality
• Develop secure, reliable software components following established coding standards and best practices.
• Leverage automation, CI/CD, and modern development practices (e.g., TDD) to improve delivery efficiency and quality. 

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
• Work closely with developers, QA, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions. 
• Contribute to process improvements, technical innovation, and modernization efforts. 

Production Support & Reliability
• Troubleshoot production issues, participate in incident management, and implement preventative solutions. 
• Support application maintenance, monitoring, and continuous improvement of system stability. 

Technical Growth & Influence
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving team coding standards. 
• Mentor junior engineers informally and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.​

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). 
- 3–5 years of hands-on software development experience across front-end and/or backend technologies. 
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as C#, .NET, Java, or similar. 
- Experience building and integrating APIs, microservices, or distributed systems. 
-Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development tools. 
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. 
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues. 
- Demonstrated focus on quality, reliability, and operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or PCF. 
-Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes. 
-Experience working in financial services or regulated environments. 
-Exposure to observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, or AppDynamics. 
-Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams. 
-Continuous learning mindset with interest in modern technologies, AI, and engineering best practices.
