Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver solutions as part of an Agile Scrum team.
• Leverage understanding of software development principles and practices to help mentor and coach junior team members.
• Support and triage issues and participate in production support to help develop resilient and secure systems to prevent issues that impact on our clients.
• Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to define strategy and scope of software requirements (decompose stories, design features, and prioritize tasks).
• Delivering new concepts and features, working alongside development peers in an agile environment.
• Utilize automated software test tools and frameworks such as test-driven development to achieve the highest quality in software delivery.  

What you have

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with database (SQL / NoSQL) architecture, design and implementation.
• 5+ years of experience with modern streaming and messaging architecture, design and implementation (RabbitMQ, Kafka and Solace or similar messaging platforms).
• Expert in QA practices (black box testing, risk-based testing, system testing, regression testing, exploratory testing practices).
• Expertise in test automation tools such as Selenium, Load Runner, JMeter, SOAP UI, ReqNRoll, cucumber or other industry leading tool sets and the Atlassian suite of tools (Jira, Zephyr, Confluence).
• Front End Technologies/Concepts:  ASP.NET, MVC, JSON/XML, Sync/Async services.
• Back End Technologies/Concepts: Advanced technical competency in an OOP language C#, .NET core, Java, and RESTful API design, Micro-Services and Event-drive driven architecture and frameworks.
• Environment: Distributed Monolithic and Cloud Based Micro-services (Private Cloud/Pivotal Cloud Foundry is strongly differentiating).
• Experience understanding and leveraging AI tools like MS Copilot through IDE, CLI or direct application access to guide adoption of AI tools across team(s) to deliver client solutions with higher quality more efficiently.
• Innovates solutions that strengthen incident response and mitigate outcomes.
• Generates effective QA testing solutions that boost operational performance and product integrity.
• Enhances business outcomes by partnering with teams to organize and prioritize requirements.
• Develops security solutions that meet business requirements.
• Ability to analyze, propose and implement timely, cost effective, quality solutions for all issues or problems within area of responsibility.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required for composing and delivering technical presentations or other forms of documentation to various level of technical and non-technical management.
• Experience providing guidance, direction, and feedback to other technical staff in order to meet agreed upon objectives.
