You will be part of a team of experienced IT professionals, Java developers tasked with developing & maintaining innovative, highly scalable solutions for the GRC platform. You will be working in a fast-paced and agile environment specializing in testing, test frameworks, test infrastructure, automation code, test tools and data.

  • Develop, execute, and maintain solutions for GRC application
  • Partner with scrum team members to develop code to advance Schwab SDLCs and meeting critical business goals
  • Analyze system requirements and prioritize tasks
  • Write clean, testable code using Java programming language
  • Work with AURA /AFCON files. Being responsible for Triggers/Helpers, Workflow, BPM and module configuration and customization
  • Directly engage with technical teams, product owners at various levels to implement the GRC Framework across the company
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on OpenPages Technical implementation aspects
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with team members and stakeholders
  • Work closely with the Sr BSA, agile scrum team(s) and product owners to prioritize the GRC models implementation
  • Solve problems and provide support, taking responsibility to make decisions when appropriate
  • Driven to learn, grow, and continuously contribute to evolving the Schwab experience and technology
  • Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment and lead by example

What you have


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent discipline. Master’s Degree Preferred.
  • 6+ years of progressive experience with IBM Open Pages development and Administration and 10+ years of solid Java experience.
  • Translating user requirements into technical designs for multiple modules as per business needs.
  • Working collaboratively with other engineers, product owners, and designers in creatively solving problems
  • Experience in an agile development environment.
  • Development experience with Java scripts and JSON.
  • Experience with Rest and SOAP API/Services
  • Experience working with building CI/CD pipeline using industry standard tool (Github/lab or Jenkins or bit bucket or Bamboo etc)
  • Work with AURA /AFCON files. Being responsible for Triggers/Helpers, Workflow, BPM and module configuration and customization.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, organization, and influencing skills.
  • Superior communication skills, able to communicate & translate complex requirements and assert positively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the Financial Services domain specifically with GRC platforms.
  • Experience working in a large organization with many stakeholders
  • Development experience working with Cognos reporting
  • Being passionate about building quality world-class systems
  • Having strong problem-solving skills who can contribute to a highly collaborative culture and agile team environment
  • Comfort in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment, with a positive attitude and solid work ethic
  • High emotional intelligence to embody our ‘through the client’s eyes’ mindset and ability to guide people through challenging projects and initiatives
  • Ability to listen and encourage thoughts, opinion, and discussions where needed

  • Familiarity and commitment to testing methodologies and test automation
  • Implementing code and unit tests using best practices and standards
