We are seeking a talented and experienced IBM OpenPages Reports Developer (Cognos) to join our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain advanced reporting solutions that empower our organization to make informed, data-driven decisions. You will leverage your expertise in IBM Cognos Analytics and OpenPages modules to deliver high-quality dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that support critical risk and compliance initiatives.

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex reports and dashboards using IBM Cognos Analytics integrated with OpenPages.
  • Publish and manage reports within the IBM OpenPages environment.
  • Collaborate with module leads and business stakeholders to gather and review reporting requirements.
  • Develop advanced queries, calculations, and custom data objects to support reporting needs.
  • Build interactive dashboards and reporting fragments tailored to OpenPages modules and business requirements.
  • Integrate reporting solutions seamlessly into OpenPages workflows.
  • Optimize reports for performance, scalability, and user experience.
  • Document reporting processes and best practices.
  • Provide training and support to product owners and power-users on new reporting functionalities.
  • Continuously identify and implement enhancements to reporting capabilities.
  • Propose innovative ideas for leveraging Cognos to improve analytical capabilities within the IBM OpenPages User Interface.

What you have


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Cognos Analytics (version 11 or higher), including report authoring, dashboard creation, and scheduling.
  • Strong familiarity with IBM OpenPages, including GRC modules and data structures.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with relational databases such as Oracle or DB2.
  • Prior experience with IBM OpenPages reporting is highly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodology and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Have experience with Atlassian JIRA suite.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with risk and compliance tools.
  • IBM Cognos certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for custom UI enhancements.
