What you have


Required Qualifications:

•  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. 
•  6+ years of experience in software engineering, production operations, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related technology roles. 
•  4+ years of experience supporting production applications in large-scale enterprise environments. 
•  Hands-on experience with monitoring, alerting, observability, and telemetry platforms. 
•  Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes. 
•  Experience troubleshooting complex production incidents and driving issue resolution. 
•  Experience with scripting or software development using languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, Shell, or similar. 
•  Experience working with distributed systems, APIs, cloud-based platforms, or highly available applications. 
•  Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering concepts including incident management, observability, automation, service availability, and operational excellence. 
•  Experience participating in on-call support rotations and production escalations. 
•  Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. 
•  Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across development, infrastructure, and support organizations.

Preferred Qualifications:

•  2+ years of experience in a dedicated SRE or DevOps engineering function.
•  Experience implementing or supporting SLIs, SLOs, and reliability metrics.
•  Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
•  Experience with containerized platforms including Kubernetes or OpenShift.
•  Experience with observability technologies such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, or similar platforms.
•  Experience leading significant production incidents or operational improvement initiatives.
•  Experience building automation frameworks that reduce operational toil.
•  Knowledge of resiliency testing, disaster recovery, and capacity planning practices.
•  Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership.
•  Financial services or highly regulated industry experience.
