As a key member of the TSSG Production Support SAvE  team, you will be a critical player in ensuring the high availability of our applications.   You will work in coordination with a larger USA and India based team to provide 24x7 triage and resolution of real-time issues, while being empowered to be Pro-Active in leveraging AI tools, alerting and scripting to enhance the environment leveraging a SRE & DevOps mindset.    Tight partnership with Developers, Business Partners, and your support team will help grow your breadth of both technical knowledge and business context within the applications that you support, initially to include Billing, with opportunity to grow into Treasury and Corporate Applications.      

• Real-time troubleshooting and resolution of critical application workflows in the Production environment.
• Creating scripts to automate operational tasks, isolate recurring issues, and enhance workflow.
• Triage alerting and leverage SME knowledge to identify root cause, while supporting  Business and Technical releases into the Production environment.
• OnCall rotational support.

What you have

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience with Object oriented programming knowledge (preferred Java or .net) as well as SQL queries.
• 4+ years Experience with building Shell Scripting.
• 4+ years Experience troubleshooting & resolving real-time Production support issues at the Enterprise level.
• 4+ years Experience with monitoring tools (SPLUNK, AppDynamic or similar).
• 2+ years Experience with Messaging  (RabbitMQ, IBMMQ or similar).
• 4+ years Experience with enterprise Batch scheduling tools (Control M or similar).
• 4+ years Experience with supporting distributed environments (Linux, SQL Server, PCF or similar).
• Knowledge of network understanding (DNS, IP Routing, SFTP, Load Balancing).
• Education – Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or similar.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Mainframe Cobol.
• Experience with Spring Framework.
• Familiar with Agile methodology and tooling (Jira).
• Financial Industry experience.
