Key Responsibilities

  • Create clear prompts, task definitions, and acceptance criteria to effectively direct AI agents on your own work.
  • Apply spec-driven development practices to translate requirements into structured, AI-ready specifications.
  • Contribute to AI agent development by helping define agent goals, tool use, and simple task flows under the guidance of senior engineers
  • Review and validate AI-generated code for correctness, quality, security, and maintainability.
  • Apply judgment to accept, modify, or reject AI suggestions based on context and team standards.
  • Use GenAI tools (for example, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to accelerate coding, debugging, and documentation
  • Resolve test issues, track, and prioritize defects, record test results, participate in product readiness and release decisions
  • Participate in technical governance and help facilitate overall product quality standards with development and business teams
  • Ensure automation is constantly running, analyzing, and promptly reporting on failures
  • Assist in driving Use Case and User Story reviews, and help resolve requirements ambiguities
  • Ability to think creatively and generate innovative solutions
  • Strong communication & technical skills
  • Knowledge of IT QA and E2E Test Management
  • Understanding of exploratory testing practices
  • Working knowledge of industry-standard Quality Engineering tools for logging bugs and managing test cases (e.g., JIRA/MTM, Zephyr/HP

What you have


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years of Software QA Engineering experience
  • 2+ years of E2E Test Lead experience
  • 2+ years of Test Automation hands on experience
  • 2+ years experience in preparing and executing IT QA multi-year Roadmap and Test Strategy at Program level based on the prioritized value streams
  • 52 years of experience with Git, Bitbucket, Splunk, Postman tools
  • 2+ years of experience with Agile development practices
  • Minimum 1 year Pega application testing
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience with driving and ensuring the quality of the operational business solutions to implement straight through processing for Account Open and Account Maintenance workflows for our clients including Document Ingestion through HyperScience, myQ, SPO, CAT and Client Central
  • Minimum 1 years experience in BDD (Behavior Driven Development) testing techniques and test automation experience using Selenium WebDriver with Cucumber and CREED
  • Supports routine troubleshooting and maintenance to minimize user disruption
  • Assists in monitoring data pipelines and storage system
  • Supports incident resolution through structured processes and service restoratio
  • Contributes to QA testing by supporting compliance verification and acceptance validatio
  • Assists in analyzing, organizing, and validating requirements
  • Assists in deploying and monitoring security controls while maintaining records
  • Assists with software design using predictive and adaptive technique
  • Contributes to developing and testing software components using established standards
  • Assists in packaging and deploying software updates with basic automation
  • Assists in applying system design concepts for cloud compatibility

Preferred Qualifications

  • Development and/or Testing experience is plus
  • Experience with Gherkin language, like Cucumber, JBehave, or SpecFlow
  • Understanding of CI/CD practices and Lean DevOps methodologies
  • Financial/Trading services industry experience is a plus
  • Breaks down tasks, analyzes simple factors, and identifies data patterns
  • Shares essential information with others to support team decision-making
  • Develops industry knowledge and understands Schwabs business functions
  • Supports colleagues in overcoming challenges
  • Anticipates potential problems and develops contingency plans within scope
