Schwab Cybersecurity organization is looking for an Associate Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer to manage and operate its Identity & Access Governance platforms. Responsibilities include ensuring platform reliability, as well as designing, developing, and documenting Schwab’s IAM requirements for strong solutions. Candidates should have experience with IAM tools such as SailPoint, LDAP technologies, Ping, Core Java, and web services development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the team with daily engineering and maintenance activities for Identity & Access governance solutions.
  • Develop IAM solutions using product frameworks and Java technologies.
  • Utilize AI prompting tools like GitHub and Copilot.
  • Provide engineering support during scheduled maintenance and change windows, including offhours deployments as required by operational needs
  • Perform routine operational responsibilities such as vulnerability management, health checks, log reviews, monitoring validation, and updating documentation.

What you have


Required Qualifications:       

  • Direct experience in Identity Access & Governance domain.
  • Experience with multiple LDAP user repositories
  • Develop CI/CD Automations for high environment deployments.
  • Hands on experience of Agile project management tools, such as Jira
  • Hands on developer experience on SailPoint IIQ & ISC technologies.
  • Hands on experience on vulnerability management – apply patches, upgrades to various COTS IGA products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years experience in Information Security field, Information Technology field
  • Prior knowledge of Agile project management tools, such as Jira
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to follow documented procedures and runbooks
  • Certified SailPoint or relevant IGA product Developer
