Charles Schwab Investment Management (CSIM) is the asset management arm of the Charles Schwab Corporation, and has over $320 billion under management in mutual funds, ETFs and SMA’s. Products managed include a wide variety of active and indexed equity, fixed income, and asset allocation strategies, as well as money markets funds. CSIM uses a consistent and disciplined approach to investing across all our products and seeks to develop innovative new products to meet the core investing needs of our clients.

The successful Specialist in Client Service will serve as a vital member of the Client Services team, assisting with documentation and dissemination of materials. Through experience, investment knowledge, and professional development, the entire team strives to provide our clients with a great advisory relationship experience.

  • Provide support to Client Service Mangers (CSMs) and Client Services Associates (CSAs) on a wide variety of tasks
  • Assist with opening and closing client accounts
  • Help maintain accurate client records
  • Prepare client documents for signature
  • Assist in the quarter-end reporting
  • Assist with mailing distributions to clients
  • Act as a liaison with operations to effectively disseminate information
  • Participate with various CS department projects
  • Assist with generating reports as requested by other CSIM departments and clients
  • Perform database updates, as necessary Collaborate in working groups to better enhance workflows and processes

Required Qualifications:

The candidate must have impeccable attention to detail, a positive attitude, self-initiator, professionalism, incredible follow-through, a great work ethic and the ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize with ease.

  • Superior level of attention to detail.
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Collaborative and relational work style with proven success in a team environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft products Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to quickly learn new software applications.
  • Desire for growth opportunities and ongoing training

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • College degree – BA/BS preferred
  • General knowledge of finance preferred
