Our Trader Service team is known for delivering exceptional experiences—and has been recognized as the industry’s top online broker for more than a decade. As an Inbound Trader Service Specialist, you’ll help clients navigate their trading and retirement accounts with confidence. Using your ability to listen deeply and uncover client needs, you will support approximately 30–40 inbound client calls per day, guiding investors through trading concepts, account questions, and platform navigation with clarity and care. You’ll also grow your own expertise through Schwab’s robust, highly respected learning programs, gaining deep knowledge in equities, foreign exchange, and derivatives (options and futures).

In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.  

NOTE: This position is based in Chicago and has a June 15th, 2026, start date.  

What you have


Requirements: 

  • Series 7 and 63 licenses required or to be obtained as a condition of employment through Schwab’s formal paid training.

  • A passion for creating positive client experiences in a fast‑paced, call‑center‑like environment through attentive listening, clear communication, and guiding clients through complex situations with patience and professionalism.
  • The ability to learn new concepts and systems, approaches problems thoughtfully by asking questions, following a step‑by‑step process, recognizing basic patterns or risks, and working within established guidelines. 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Eager to learn financial markets and trading concepts, with a strong interest in strategies, products, and building expertise in equities, FX, options, and futures.  
  • Previous customer service or client relationship experience.
