SchwabRetirement Operations Platformand Strategyislooking for an experiencedSeniorProduct Ownerthat willlead the design, management, and innovation of platform solutions for retirement plan participants, sponsors, and consultants. You’ll play a pivotal role in modernizing our recordkeeping systems, driving operational efficiency, reducing risk, and delivering tailored experiences that help our clients and business teams thrive.Specifically, you will develop and implementthe APIproductstrategy androadmapsto integratenew offersand experiencescoming into RPS and be responsible for the long-term vision for the products.

What you have


Required Qualifications

  • 10 years of Product Leadership
  • Ability todefineand communicateaclear vision and roadmap for APIproductsaligned with company goals, customer needs, and partner/channelrequirements
  • Collaborate withProduct,SystemsEngineering, Data Platform, and Architecture teams to define technical experience and product requirements, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, auditable, and maintainable
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to plan and prioritize work, balancing technical efforts with new productsandproduct enhancements
  • Develop and maintain product documentation, user guides, API specs, and release notes for both internal and external audiences
  • Provide technical enablement forsupport,ops, and partner teams, ensuring clarity around capabilities, use cases, and integrations 
  • Serve as a bridge between business and technical teams, translating complex requirements into actionable deliverables 
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience writing technical and non-technical requirements and acceptance criteria
  • 5 years leading APIproducts
  • EnsureAPIproducts and integrations drive measurable business outcomes and provide first-class access for key internal products that rely on this product
  • Manage API and integration platform and partner relationships,maintainingtechnical requirementsanddocumentation standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Scrum Product Owner certification.
  • Experience with Scaled Agile frameworks and toolsi.e,Jira or Rally
  • Experience with API documentation
  • Prior retirement plan or financial servicesexperience
  • Sufficient depth of experience to interact effectively with senior team technology and business partners via meetings, presentations and written reports
  • Strong technical fluency, able to engage effectively in the technical details with engineers, data teams, and architects

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
