As we expand our capabilities and modernize our platforms, we’re seeking a skilled and collaborative Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET). If you’re energized by solving complex challenges, improving quality through engineering excellence, and contributing to an inclusive, cross‑functional team where every voice is valued, this role offers a high‑impact opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI and API automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, REST Assured, and related tools.
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects early in the development cycle to ensure testability, automation coverage, and quality built in from the start.
  • Accelerate modernization efforts by delivering automated API and service‑level testing that supports faster and safer integration.
  • Identify and communicate risks, quality concerns, and performance gaps to strengthen system reliability and prevent production issues.
  • Support the modernization of legacy components while ensuring compliance and maintaining industry‑leading quality standards.
  • Leverage AI‑assisted testing techniques to expand test coverage, enhance defect detection, and improve team efficiency.
  • Serve as the SDET for a scrum team, participating actively in ceremonies and championing quality throughout each sprint.

What you have


Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of related experience required; BS/MS degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of hands‑on test automation experience within Agile teams.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and object‑oriented programming principles.
  • Experience building test automation frameworks with Selenium and REST Assured (or similar tools).
  • Experience using API testing tools such as Postman, Insomnia, or Bruno.
  • Familiarity with load/performance testing tools such as JMeter, BlazeMeter, or LoadRunner, and performance concepts like P95.
  • Experience working with relational databases (Oracle, MS‑SQL); exposure to document databases is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as PCF, GCP, or AWS.
  • Understanding of Clean Code principles (DRY, SOLID) and common test automation design patterns like Page Object Model, proxy, factory, and data objects.
  • Proficiency with Git‑based source control.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve code quality, accelerate testing, or enhance automation.
  • Experience with parallel test execution and cloud‑based test infrastructure (e.g., Sauce Labs).
  • Background in data modeling and test data management best practices.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Zephyr, Bamboo, Bitbucket).
  • Familiarity with IaaS concepts as they relate to application testing.
  • Experience with MongoDB or other non‑relational data stores.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
