Your opportunity

At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us challenge the status quo and transform the finance industry together. We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s).

As an intern, it’s not about what you know - it’s about what you are willing to learn. We are seeking students who are curious, professional, and motivated to explore a client‑facing career path within Schwab.

About the Branch Organization:

The Branch organization supports Schwab clients through in‑person and centralized branch models that deliver financial guidance, service, and education. Branch teams help clients navigate financial decisions, build confidence, and work toward their long‑term goals while maintaining Schwab’s commitment to trust, integrity, and client experience.

This internship provides hands‑on exposure to branch operations and client engagement in a financial services environment. Interns work alongside branch and centralized teams to support client interactions, operational processes, and advisor coordination while building foundational skills for a career in financial services.

Throughout the internship, you will strengthen your ability to listen to client needs, communicate clearly and professionally, follow established processes, manage priorities, and complete work with accuracy and attention to detail. You will receive coaching, professional development opportunities, networking experiences, and hands-on exposure to branch operations and client engagement while learning from branch professionals. These experiences will help you build foundational financial services knowledge and develop skills that can be applied across a variety of client-facing career paths. Your contributions matter, your growth is supported, and your work will help branch teams deliver the trusted, consistent experience Schwab clients rely on every day.

Internship Dates: June 7, 2027 – August 6, 2027

As part of your application, please identify the location(s) where you would be interested in completing your internship. Interns who successfully complete the program may be considered for future opportunities within their selected market, so we encourage you to carefully evaluate your location preferences before applying.
