In this role, you’ll be part of the SMA Operations & Trade Support team, partnering closely with portfolio managers, traders, and cross-functional teams to support the day-to-day management of client portfolios. In this role, you will support the operational execution and maintenance of separately managed accounts (SMAs), helping ensure accuracy, efficiency, and an exceptional client experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage client portfolios in alignment with investment models and client-specific preferences
• Process and fulfill client account maintenance requests with a high level of accuracy and timeliness
• Support trade order generation and lifecycle workflows across SMA products
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate system or account-related issues as needed
• Maintain and apply client restrictions, including those related to corporate actions
• Partner with teams across Investment Operations, Client Service, Order Generation, and Portfolio Support to resolve requests and drive outcomes
• Create and maintain clear documentation, including procedures, job aids, and best practices
• Contribute to process improvements, operational enhancements, and team initiatives
• Provide backup support across SMA products and workflows as needed

What you have

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• 1+ years of experience in financial services, operations, trading support, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively across geographically dispersed teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated ability to learn new systems, tools, and processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting investment operations, trading, or portfolio management workflows
• Understanding of separately managed accounts (SMAs) or investment products
• Experience working with account maintenance, restrictions, or corporate actions
• Knowledge of financial markets, investment concepts, or portfolio construction
• Continuous improvement mindset with an interest in enhancing processes and efficiency
