We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location.

At Schwab Asset Management (SAM), we are committed to clear, accurate, and transparent communications that help clients and investors make informed decisions. The Manager, Communications with the Public (CWTP) – Project Manager plays a critical role in supporting that mission by serving as the operational hub for the review and approval of marketing, advertising, and investment communications across SAM.

In this role, you will own the end-to-end CWTP review lifecycle for a wide range of materials supporting separately managed accounts (SMAs), mutual funds, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). You will partner closely with stakeholders across Product, Legal, Compliance, and Marketing to ensure communications meet internal standards and regulatory requirements, while continuously improving how work flows across the organization.

This is an individual contributor role within SAM Product Management & Innovation, offering the opportunity to influence process design, drive operational excellence, and help shape how investment information reaches the public.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Own and manage the full CWTP lifecycle from intake through final approval, ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes across multiple concurrent projects
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external reviewers, including business subject matter experts, Legal, Compliance, and Series 24 Principals
  • Coordinate and prioritize review workflows by tracking status, communicating progress, and proactively facilitating follow-ups between content owners and reviewers
  • Apply deep knowledge of CWTP policies, disclosure standards, and regulatory considerations to guide stakeholders and translate requirements into clear, scalable processes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records on behalf of document owners to support required filings and audit readiness
  • Administer and continuously enhance the Workfront intake and routing model to promote consistency, transparency, and high-quality submissions
  • Lead or contribute to initiatives that evolve CWTP processes, including the development of documentation, job aids, and training materials
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and strengthen overall governance
