The goal of Plan Administration is to meet the needs of Retirement Plan Services by providing the best client service possible as it relates to the recordkeeping aspects of Defined Contribution Retirement Plans. Specifically, the Receipts Sr. Specialist position is responsible for executing daily responsibilities for Receipts activity, managing relationships with internal business partners, maintaining, and testing various internal and vendor-supplied systems, while ensuring absolute compliance with all regulations and requirements of ERISA Law.

What you’ll do:

The Sr. Specialist is the knowledge expert and workflow coordinator for all Receipts related processes.  The position is responsible for understanding all operational processes within the group, executing appropriate risk mitigation, enhancing operational controls while improving efficiency through process improvements and is the subject matter expert within the team.  Position responsibilities include: responding to Client Service Team inquiries regarding payrolls funding, and all Receipts activities, policies and procedures, providing guidance to team members to ensure accurate and timely processing, maintaining quality control and procedures, and creating process improvements in order to meet key deliverables and exceed client expectations.  Flexibility and extreme attention to detail, initiative in researching tasks, entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to meet multiple competing deadlines is vital to success in this position. Crucial to success is the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, daily-deadline-driven environment coordinating activities of team members and processing transactions to achieve success with minimal errors.  The Sr. Specialist position is a leadership position within the unit and is responsible for creating and maintaining a positive work environment that fosters employee engagement.  The successful candidate must have superior analytical skills, high-level processing experience/knowledge of SRI, be able to process/complete payroll related corrections, extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, SRI and Word.  The successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with various departments to ensure that daily client deliverables are met.

What you have


Required Qualifications:

  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • Greater than three years’ experience
  • Advanced knowledge of our Contribution Management System, SRI, Microsoft Excel, Word and Access Database maintenance, creative thought process focusing on continuous process improvement
  • Familiarity with IRS Form 1099-R., retirement industry knowledge, ASPPA designation
  • Ability to work with stock and State Street when clients fund contributions using unitized stock shares. 
  • Thorough understanding of company match calculations and confidence in ensuring when Schwab systems are performing the calculation it is accurate.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
