In this role, you will help design and build scalable platforms supporting critical workplace applications such as Equity Administration, PCRA, and Retirement Plan Services. You will contribute to modernization initiatives, API and platform enhancements, system performance improvements, and the evolution of legacy components—all while championing high‑quality, secure, and resilient engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and enhance scalable .NET services and applications supporting millions of workplace participants.
  • Contribute to modernization work, including API development, microservices, and cloud‑ready architectures.
  • Improve platform reliability, performance, and overall health through engineering best practices.
  • Support risk mitigation and compliance through remediation of legacy components and uplift efforts.
  • Leverage AI‑enabled tools and modernization patterns to enhance development quality and efficiency.
  • Work within an Agile/SAFe environment, collaborating cross‑functionally with product, engineering, and business partners.
  • Participate as an influencer—helping shape technical direction and advocating for scalable, secure, and inclusive engineering solutions.

What you have


Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of related experience required (using C# and .NET (.NET Core / .NET 6+); BS/MS degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Experience building RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core.
  • Working knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases and ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework Core.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud‑native concepts.
  • Experience working in Agile/SAFe methodologies and contributing within SCRUM teams.
  • Exposure to CI/CD practices, DevOps tooling, automation, and secure coding practices.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional partners, communicate technical concepts clearly, and align solutions with business needs.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience providing technical leadership, mentorship, or serving as a feature lead.
  • Hands‑on work in modernization projects (APIs, microservices, cloud migration, platform uplift).
  • Exposure to enterprise‑scale, highly available systems.
  • Additional depth with cloud platforms (GCP preferred), Kubernetes, or distributed event‑based architectures.
  • Experience with DevOps automation tooling and advanced CI/CD patterns.
  • Working knowledge of application security, performance tuning, and monitoring/observability tools.
  • Certifications demonstrating continuous learning, such as:
    • Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer
    • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
    • AWS Solutions Architect – Associate
    • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
