We are seeking a Product Owner, Digital Product Management (individual contributor) KM/AI Analytics in Digital Rep Solutions to lead the development and enhancement of our knowledge management and generative AI data, analytics, and tools.

This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including data science, cloud, data engineering, and front-end development.

The Product Owner will identify data opportunities, define problem statements, document business processes, size benefits, prioritize work, drive user adoption, aid in data drive development, and measure the value of product features and capabilities.

The Product Owner will drive significant planning and trade-off decisions including multiple competing demands from disparate business units, across the enterprise and must determine how to reconcile the demands and prioritize to get the best outcome for the greatest number of stakeholders.

What you are good at

Strategy, Vision, Data Driven Product Practices

  • Define and champion the near-term analytics vision, ensuring alignment with Schwab’s strategic goals
  • Leverage data and analytics to inform product decisions, ensuring that all features and capabilities are driven by user insights and business metrics
  • Develop dashboards and consistent reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to provide stakeholders with the necessary information
  • Lead with autonomy in determining data delivery needs, cadence, and expansion of capabilities, partnering with existing teams as necessary to integrate and enhance existing metrics and dashboards
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive analytics and reporting strategy to guide future initiatives in knowledge management and generative AI, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs
  • Maintain and prioritize a product reporting roadmap and backlog that reflects the needs and value to the customer and business
  • Advocate for a strong user experience incorporating user feedback and analytics into product development to ensure the tool is intuitive and effective
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks throughout the product development process

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the main point of contact between users, business stakeholders, and the development team to identify data requirements and fulfill them through additional metrics
  • Facilitate communication and translate between business requirements and technical language

Performance Metrics

  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for all our knowledge management and generative AI capabilities
  • Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to the product strategy

Communication

  • Accountable for driving communication strategy, plan and updates to stakeholders on behalf of the Digital Rep Solutions organization
  • Effectively communicate data and analytics through regular presentations (e.g., monthly stakeholder meetings) and be capable of presenting to senior leadership with clarity and impact

What you have


Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree
  • At least 2 years of experience directly supporting Schwab internal business stakeholders or comparable experience supporting corporate knowledge management and/or gen AI tools
  • At least 4 years of experience in financial services
  • At least 5 years of product and/or business/data analyst experience
  • Experience building analytics reports and dashboards
  • Experience building and maintaining Power Automate & Power App tools and flows including MS certification
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework and delivering in an Agile environment
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Strong business influence skills
  • Ability to distill strategy, analytics and varied sets of input to drive decisions across stakeholder communities
  • Building credibility with peers and key stakeholders (at all levels of the organization) to be able to drive action. 
  • Ability to develop multiple solutions to the same problem and identify the common failure modes associated with each
  • Ability to track and manage multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience directly supporting Schwab internal business stakeholders or comparable experience supporting corporate knowledge management and/or gen AI tools
  • Knowledge of Schwab products, services and support systems
  • Good understanding and/or experience with financial services regulations 
  • Comfort in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment, with a positive attitude and solid work ethic. 
  • Self-starter with outstanding organizational skills
  • Curiosity to continually reevaluate existing products and processes
