Schwab’s Wealth Strategies Group is looking for a Senior Product Strategy Manager to own the strategy, development, and execution of tax-aware planning and investing programs in Schwab’s premier wealth management offer—Schwab Wealth Advisory.

You will be responsible for owning and progressing Tax Strategy roadmaps, including the end-to-end design, development, and launch of new features and programs. This role requires a background in product strategy or program management and experience collaborating within a large Enterprise to design and pressure test new products, services, and programs. The candidate will have experience in product strategy ownership, program management, and a strong track record in building and launching new products. The candidate will have strong collaboration skills and executive presence to effectively build trust and communicate with partners in risk & governance, digital product, field enablement, and more. As the Senior Product Strategy Manager, you will:

  • Design and manage go-to-market and implementation plans for tax-aware planning and investing programs, as well as other programs within Wealth Strategies Group as needed
  • Have a client-first mindset, becoming an expert in the needs, expectations, and pain points of clients and advisors
  • Own strategic roadmaps and inform decisions related to the design and delivery of new and ongoing programs
  • Identify and navigate issues and gaps in the client & rep experience, program design, and delivery
  • Facilitate meetings and working sessions to drive efficient issue identification, creative problem solving, and effective decision-making across partner teams and with team leaders
  • Develop and deliver clear, compelling presentations for senior leadership that will be used to influence the strategic direction of the client and rep experience
  • Quickly build credibility and trust to cultivate and nurture strong partnerships with cross-enterprise business partners, stakeholders, executives, vendor contacts, and client-facing representatives

  • Exceptional communication, relationship management, and influencing skills; strong emotional intelligence and executive presence. Thrives on building strong authentic relationships on the team and across the organization.
  • Track record of designing & implementing end-to-end experiences that achieve superior results for the end user at scale
  • Experience in gathering data and synthesizing insights to understand client needs, and use these insights to inform design and positioning of products and services
  • Excellent presentation skills and demonstrated success in a collaborative environment
  • Exceptional organization skills and the ability to keep self and others informed of and prepared for key milestones on offer roadmaps
  • Expertise in tax topics preferred, including designing and delivering tax-aware programs and features
  • BA/BS degree required; CFP and/or CPA preferred

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
