Execute development pipeline and delivery of the organization’s software products to QA, and ultimately to production. Interface with product owner and key stakeholders in Project Management, Business, QA and Technology. Work with Scrum Master and Product Owner to provide development sizing and estimates. Work closely with Product Owner and team members to decompose stories, design features, and prioritize tasks. Preparing the requirements and implementing them in the order of prioritization. Maintaining application servers by trouble shooting and deploying the software to enable business functionalities for various teams. Using Splunk (Splunk queries) to monitor the application health, trouble shoot the issues as part of production support efforts. Analyze systems and software programs, develop, test and troubleshoot software applications. Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as costs and security need to determine hardware configuration. Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming and documentation. Analyze business needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.

Position allows for partial remote work (2-3 times in the office). Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company Westlake, TX. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.

What you have

Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor’s experience which must include some experience in each of the following skills: Microsoft Technologies, .Net, C#, OOPS, Visual Studio, ASP.Net, HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, JSON, jQuery, Entity Framework, MVC, Angular, TypeScript, NodeJS; SQL Server and Oracle; Source code version control software Visual Source Safe, Team Foundation Server, Subversion, and Git; Distributed multi-tier applications and Client server applications architecture; Build and deploy software applications on various environments, IIS, and DevOps; and Windows services, web services, WCF, REST services, batch processing, Microservices, Kubernetes, and Docker Containers.
