Design, develop and integrate software applications with backend systems. Lead and develop the team. Work closely with product teams and architects. Analyze complex business and system requirements and provide technical solutions to meet user requirements. Lead architecture and integration design discussions and influence technical and business teams. Provide best practice guidance and design recommendations on Integration systems. Partner with application and data developers on designs, models and best in class implementation. Interact with experts in different organizations and business groups.

Position allows for 100% remote work. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Austin, TX. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.

What you have

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s in Computer and Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or related field. Requires 5 years of related progressive, post-bachelor’s experience, which must include some experience in each of the following skills: Agile, SCRUM and Test Driven Development; Application modernization, designing and developing cloud native app using Spring cloud technology stacks on Pivotal Cloud Foundry Platform; Integration and Microservice based Architecture with orchestration and choreography pattern and Data Streaming Architecture using Spring cloud Data-flow; Opensource frameworks (Spring, Struts, MVC, Oracle and Hibernate); Java, JPA, web services, JSF, Prime Faces, JSP, Servlet, EJB, AXIS, SOAP and WSDL Zuul, Circuit Breaker using Hystrix; and Design/Implementation of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment using Bitbucket, Bamboo, Power shell scripts,and Veracode
