Develop, document and implement test plan, test cases and test scripts for applications built up on the application platform. Design and develop test automation framework/tools that can support component-level testing automation for new functionalities. Create and enhance all testcases using Cucumber BDD framework along with Rest Assured and other necessary tools/libraries and JAVA as programming language. Develop testcases using tools like IntelliJ, Bitbucket, GIT, Visual studio etc. Set up continuous integration jobs on Bamboo/Jenkins for automated test executions and implement alert mechanism for failure scenarios and reports. Verification and validation of features for each version of the software. Participate in walkthroughs of testing procedures and prepare test reports related to software. Ensure that all tested related work is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures such as functional testing, API level testing, integration testing, regression testing, end to end testing, performance and load testing, device testing etc. Defect tracking and create summary reports. Design and maintain test data for projects. Gather requirements for test data management and data archival. Work with support team to resolve issues with complex data types and provide work around solutions. Create and manage data that is complete and accurate. Participate in release activities. Participate in Go-Live meetings. Perform production validation to confirm release’s success.

Work from home permitted. Must be able to attend in office meetings up to twice monthly. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.

What you have

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related field and five (5) years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or related role. Skills: Experience and/or education must include: Implement test automation framework for web services, APIs, and web-based applications; Develop, execute, and maintain automation test cases and test scenarios using Java; Web services and utilizing related testing tools: Cucumber BDD, GIT, Bitbucket, JIRA, Jmeter, Junit, Postman, IntelliJ, Bamboo/Jenkins; and QA practices (black box testing, integration testing, system testing, regression testing, exploratory testing).
