Explore an exciting and challenging opportunity to join an exceptional team within Operational Services that provides cost basis updates, support, and resolution of client inquiries. The Specialist will support prioritized work items pertaining to ultra-high net worth clients and premium advisors.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide exceptional, prompt, and thorough service to our ultra-high net worth clients and advisors when researching cost basis inquiries and processing cost basis updates.  
  • Engage in a dialogue to identify additional needs and present effective solutions.
  • Fulfill clients’ requests with passion, positivity, and innovative solutions.
  • Establish clear points of contact for one-stop resolution and for ongoing support and escalations.
  • Deliver high quality service and meet client expectations by working collaboratively with team members in an agile environment.
  • Manage multiple tasks effectively by balancing high productivity with excellent service quality.
  • Approve and process client requests within Cost Basis IRS regulations and considering, business, brand, financial, and regulatory risk.

Required Qualifications

  • Highly motivated and results driven.
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for service quality
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, ability to work with large data sets.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • Experience working in financial services industry. 
  • Proven cost basis experience and knowledge framework
  • 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Knowledge of IRS Cost Basis regulations in relation to broker/dealer reporting
  • Expertise in cost basis reporting topics, such as impact of return of capital transactions, corporate actions, fixed income amortization/accretion, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Series 7 license
